The dogs of war shall never sit idle in the hearts of men.
    End of season 2 revise.

Yes it's mecha, but that's only one part of the story.
This is starting off with a dramatic background and ending with a bang. The series begins with a of promise for action, and even though the character development is initially difficult to gauge, it is looking promising to have a variety of interesting characters moving the plot. The stoic MC that calmly assesses ...

Aldnoah Zero is a must watch!
The first episode was great. Although the plot was moving a bit too fast that is expected from a 12 episode anime. We can't expect too much from one episode but the scenes in the first episode was enough to catch me. The artwork is great and so is the OST which was a super eargasm (as expected from Hiroyuki Sawano). I think this anime is definitely gonna hit the top for mecha animes.

My first look at a mech anime with potential.
This anime was slow going for the first half of the episode, but it picks up the pace and really raised the bar high for their next ep. Soundtrack and sound design, which is important to me, was perfectly used at the end, so I'm hoping to see more tracks like that. Main protagonist seems to be competent, cool and collected, which is nice to see in a mech anime these days. First anime this new ...

MEH!! possibilities, but needs to improve!!
Aldnoah Zero has potential, but it needs to do a better job with the opening episode. An opening episode sets up the entire series. It introduces the background and plot, so when things happen in the anime, you can understand what's going on and why. Characters are introduced and their background and function in the anime are given.

The intro did a decent job of introducing the plot and ...

Great so Far! Can be more Descriptive
The opening episode of the series was great! It could have explained more descriptive background on the situation instead of jumping into a whole scenario with little explanation. Overall, the series will be a great mecha anime and I can't wait for more!

Aldnoah.Zero is a must see for a thrill! Episode 3 update: it keeps getting better
    Episode 3 Update!!

Fun Fact: Same guy [Akoi,Ei] who directed fate/zero, blood +, bakamonogatari, and even baka to test is working on this. Additionally, the creator [Urobuchi,Gen] worked on shows like fate/zero, gargantia and the verdurous planter, and psycho pass among other highly rated anime. so hopefully they continue their trend of not disappointing me lol back to the ...

A mecha anime with lots of potential
It's been a while since I've been able to enjoy a mecha series since watching Gundam 00. Aldnoah. Zero does a really good job setting up the plot and preparing us for what we can expect as the series progresses. Every character seems to be unique in their own way and we can expect some back story behind what makes them who they are. The plot is very interesting and what appealed to me the most is ...

Mecha and Mars? I'll try it.
I decided to watch Aldnoah.Zero solely based on Urobuchi Gen's involvement. I love the mecha genre, but not all mecha shows are the same. Gundam was the last great one I watched (and I guess Valvrave but I don't really lump that in the mecha category for some reason. Anyway, Aldnoah.Zero.

Slower pace so far, setting up for some interesting plot
So I'll preface by saying that I don't like most shounen protagonists. I like this one so far, because he's different. He's rather apathetic, even. I'd rather see the world through his eyes than some random crybaby dogooder student who's given some special power and saves the world yada yada like most shounen.

That being said, the first episode is not much in explanations. So far it feels a lot ...

    Amazing First Episode!
The show's off to a good start and I expect great things from it considering it's written by Gen Urobuchi. It was well paced and A1 pictures has done it again with their high quality animation. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the series and whatever else it has to offer.
