    Has a lot of promise.
I figured I would write this since there aren't any others. At first glance it has a great premise and besides 'Nona' there isn't much CGI that I could tell of. It has an interesting story line of almost a reverse isekai anime where the main character comes to earth. Since this is only a view of the first episode and I haven't read the manga or any source material I describe what I've seen so far. ...

  • A Really Bad Anime...
For the Spring 2019 season, I decided to watch more new anime and explore a lot of new genres and what I got to was this absolute piece of garbage. I remember reading the summary and absolutely cringing at the thought of a grown man having an actual relationship with a freaking figurine. Now I would like to remind a lot of people that this is an opinionated review about why I personally do not ...

  • Pleasantly Surprised
I did NOT think I was going to like this anime. I'm not into mecha-looking girls, and the main male character was also weird looking. I thought it was just another normal fan service type help out the loner otaku guy anime, but I gave it a chance, and it ended up being amazing. Still had the harem thing going on, but actually followed an interesting type of plot. Someone commented "Toy Story 4 ...

  • Amazingly Strange, yet Charming
Amazing Stranger is weird, very weird. The initial pitch is solid, but it just continually gets even more bizarre and strange you think that it's almost a parody of itself by the end. However, the characters are fun, the jokes land, and the CG isn't terrible (yes, it's Half-CG . . . thing, don't let the cover fool you).

However, it's fun, it's charming, and it knows exactly what it is.

  • Pretty good, but not enough
I feel as if this series is pretty underrated. The MC seems pretty down to earth even though the girls are 3D figures their character development wasn't all that excessive, but it would likely be remedied with longer episodes, or another season.
I hope there will be more to come, it has a lot of potential.

  • I don't know how I feel...
I honestly don't know how I feel about this one. I mean it has its good parts and cringe parts but It was definitely interesting. I wouldn't go out of my way to promote it but if you're into weird anime, may as well give it a shot. If I had to change one thing about it, I would say that they needed to be able to find a way to make Nona into a full size model.

    Awesome, Exciting New Series
This series is one of its own; there really isn't an anime about living figurines. Nona is absolutely adorable and very optimistic. She bubble with life and fun. Haruto is a sweet, funny otaku that cares for Nona and the rest of the figurines. All the characters are unique and interesting in their own ways. The plot is always fun and humorous, leaving me waiting for the next episode to come out. I ...

I wish I dropped this series
I liked the character designs and the opening theme song. I found the mystery surrounding the vents and their causality interesting. But this series focuses on a man’s unhealthy relationship with his plastic figurines. I mean, there’s wish fulfillment then there’s eight inch tall plastic girls confessing their love for you. And I have to ask, who is the target audience here? Also, this show takes ...

Finally something for and about adult otaku that isn't pandering
Haruto isn't a boss gamer or some track-suit wearing high schooler who lands in a fantasy world and automatically gets a harem... he's a normal guy who has a normal IT job and lives in a normal apartment and doesn't have a girlfriend. So that's pretty much Adult Otaku 101. He's probably in his 30s or close. The fantasy world in this case comes to him: he's just bought his first ever anime figure, ...
