FEATURE: "PARK Harajuku: Crisis Team!" - MARI in the Chair Forever

The new storytelling project by Mugi Takanka continues

Artist Mugi Tanaka’s “kawaii sci-fi” storytelling project, PARK Harajuku: Crisis Team!, gets the bonus material treatment today via a moody monologue from the gang’s resident Gothic Lolita MARI. Plus, new item unlocks, new pics, and a report on the Crisis Team in-store event happening right now in Tokyo! Enjoy below!

In case you are just joining us, PARK Harajuku: Crisis Team! is a collaboration with between Mugi Tanaka and the PARK store in Harajuku and it is exclusive to Crunchyroll! For more information about the project, check out the previous links here on Crunchy News!

So what else is going on? Well, turns out we’re in Tokyo now, enjoying the beginning of fall and checking out the PARK Harajuku: Crisis Team! in-store event happening right now at the PARK store in Tokyo, Japan (on display until 11/24)!

This marks the debut of the Japanese version of PH:CT! and, to mark the occasion, a bunch of new Crisis Team! items are on sale, including RITO, MARI, and KOTOKO parkas, Crisis Team! stickers, buttons, a baseball hat with our logo on it, and (most mind-blowingly) a gachagacha machine that dispenses PARK Harajuku: Crisis Team! goodies!

We promise to try and find a way to make this merch available to users outside of Japan (our first wave of products are sold out now…), but until then, enjoy the picture of the in-store event below.

Visit PARK’s official site for lots more info and cool pix of the new Crisis Team! character goods.

That’s it for our installment this time, but expect more artwork and story from Mugi Tanaka and the PARK Harajuku gang next week.

In the meantime, sign up and follow our rather remarkable SNS links!
