Manga Creators and Fan Artists Join Forces for "Bowsette" Craze!
Fan-made masterpieces from the creators of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, One Punch Man, Pop Team Epic, and more!

Yes, I know it's not a Friday, it's a Tuesday.
But if you've been anywhere near Twitter in the last five days or so, you had to have at least caught a glimpse of something called "Bowsette," or "Koopa-hime" (クッパ姫). For those of you who've been drowning in Bowsette fanart for the last couple days, I'm not sorry, you're stuck here with me.
And Bowsette.
So really, it all started with this, by Twitter artist Haniwa, riffing on New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe's Super Crown item.

And then... shit got real. Also yeah, just a warning, from this point on there may be some kinda-sorta NSFW art.
Y'know what? While we're here, let's have some music:
Hundreds of other artists weighed in with their versions of Bowsette, including big-name manga artists, like Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid creator Coolkyoushinja:

Finally, back on-topic, here's the Kawaiikochans politely explaining everything we'd ever need to know.
https://t.co/WOmtazjB1P Hi, it's "Latest Trends: Kawaiikochans." Do you know #クッパ姫 ? Do you know #bowsette? As we're @Sega Kawaiis... we have to answer it. DEBUT! EGG-HIME!! @ayyk92 @cot_510 pic.twitter.com/DhWImyFC72
— Hi, it's Kawaiikochans (@Kawaiikochans) September 24, 2018
Thanks, Kawaiikochans. Although it should be said:
Imma point out @sailorbee did a Bowsette cosplay with us 5 years ago. Lmao. pic.twitter.com/rPcKYdS4yl

So that brings us to now, and I know I've missed a whole lot of great artists and interpretations of Bowsette. What are your favorites? Sound off in the comments and let us know!
