That Time We Partied Like a Slime!

Fans enjoyed music, themed drinks, door prizes, and the company of anime's official Best Slime!

We don't know about you, but we're pretty sure Rimuru from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime knows how to party. This past weekend, anime DJ circle Kawaii Bass teamed up with Crunchyroll to put on That Time I Partied as a Slime, an entire evening devoted to one of the biggest hits of fall and winter... and it seemed our suspicions were accurate! Not only that, it sounds like our Canadian Crunchyroll contingent knows how to party isekai-style, too!

The Canadian get-together took place last Saturday in Toronto, with more than 200 fans in attendance. Attendees got to pick up door prizes, sample special drinks made just for the occasion, and hang out with fellow anime viewers. Apparently the Slime love is strong, because the show was the talk of the evening!

The 19+ party boasted a special blue Rimuru-themed drink only available at the event. Were you one of the attendees lucky enough to try it?

The real Rimuru was in attendance, too—and it seems like he was the life of the party! The plushie made his way around the partygoers for photo ops, and apparently two people bought him drinks!

But don't take our word for it—here are a few posts from partygoers showing how their evening went:

There's lots more slime party pics over on the official Facebook event page, so be sure to check them out... and share yours if you were there!

Saying goodbye to Rimuru isn't easy, but partygoers got to take home their own slime stress ball!

Thanks to everyone who turned up for our Slime-tastic party, and thanks to Kawaii Bass for keeping the music kicking!
