ZC World Celebrates 60 Years of "Astro Boy"

A PCV tribute to the character that kicked off televised anime

In April 1952, Osamu Tezuka launched the manga adventures of child robot hero Astro Boy. The post war manga landmark would prove to be so popular it would launch the whole industry of televised anime with the seminal 1963 adaptation. ZCgirl's ZC World line is marking the character's 60th anniversary with a new PVC figure. He ships in a wooden box and is going for around  ¥12,000 ($147) at most retailers.
