Adaptation of series by Kagari Tamaoka to be produced by Dogakobo
If you've ever longed to start your own manga magazine, you at least have as much experience as the girls of Kagari Tamaoka's Mangirl! manga. The series—which follows editor-in-chief Hana and her squad of "Japan's cutest manga editors," who strive to make the #1 manga magazine with no experience whatsoever—has officially been green-lit for an anime adaptation.
The announcement comes from the wraparound jacket on the manga's first volume and Monthly Comic Earth Star magazine's website. Anime studio Dogakobo (YuruYuri, Koihime Musō) is behind the adaptation, which is planned for next year.
