Smile PreCure, Go-Busters, Kamen Rider Fourze Won Japan Toy Award 2012

The hit of 2011, Fourze Henshin Belt DX sold 800,000 units

The Japan Toy Association announced the winners of the fifth annual Japan Toy Award at Tokyo Kokusai Forum on June 12. The association received 397 applications from 40 toy companies in Japan this year, and a group of 21 judges from the Japanese toy industry and the media selected the winners. The main toys of Smile PreCure, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, and Kamen Rider Fourze won the first prizes in their categories. All of the toys were produced by Bandai. This shows why Bandai has been the most successful toy company in Japan.


Smile PreCure's transformation device "Smile Pact" received the first prize in the girl's toy category.

The suggested retail price is 3,675 yen (approximately US$46.14)


Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters's "Buster Machine CB-01 DX Go-buster Ace" and Buster Machine series received

the first prize in the character toy category.

The suggested retail price for Go-buster Ace is 5,040 yen (US$63.28).


Kamen Rider Fourze's "Henshin Belt DX Fourze Driver" received the "2011 Hit Sales" award.

The suggested retail price is 6,825 yen (US$85.69)
