Given the production cycles and audience reaction to recent marquee titles like the Final Fantasy games, it's easy to imagine Square Enix's reputation in the game development industry could be a little complex these days. Never the less, Square Enix are geared up to show big at their Open Conference 2012 event, which will take place in Tokyo on November 23rd and 24th. 

The conference will showcase the next-gen Luminous engine and the tech demo Final Fantasy: Agni’s Philosophy.

Day 1 will focus on the Agni's Philosophy tech demo, concept and realtime workflow. The second day will examine Agni's realtime workflow and graphics technology, Luminous Studio, and will offer a server side discussion of Final Fantasy XIV.

Agni's Philosophy was previously shown at E3.
