"Chrono Trigger" Composer Provides Annual Christmas Arrangement

Yasunori Mitsuda offers up some nice seasonal tunes for all

Bust out some eggnog or a warm cup of cocoa and pull up next to the fire for this one. Each year composer Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears) streams a Christmas music arrangement from his home page, and 2012 is no exception.

This time around the selection is a holiday arrangement from his KiЯite album, which is based on a story by Masato Kato (scenario and script writer for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross) called The Five Seasons of Kirite

Head on over to Mitsuda's Procyon Studio site to listen! Then come back and stare at the yule log while it plays:

Mitsuda recently contributed to the Kid Icarus: Uprising soundtrack, and his current project is working on music for Keiji Inafune's Soul Sacrifice along with Resident Evil 5 composer Wataru Hokoyama.
