Maaya Sakamoto to reprise the role of young Motoko Kusanagi in four episode series

Singer/voice actress Maaya Sakamoto, who voiced the Major in young bodies in original movie and in Stand Alone Complex, will be reprising the role of Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Arise, a four part OVA/theatrical run series with the first 50 minute episode premiering in Japanese theaters June 22nd, ahead of its July Blu-ray release.

Daisuke Aramaki - Ikkyu Jyuku

Kise Kazuchika, an animator on the GitS movies, will be helming the work and providing character design with Mardock Scramble's Tow Ubukata writing. Cornelius (Appleseed: Ex Machina) composes music.
