Atlus USA Officially Sets "Dragon's Crown" for Summer Release

Vanillaware's side-scrolling hack 'n slasher gets North American window

After being dated for a July 25 Japanese release, many were wondering when Dragon's Crown would be making its way to North America. While it's not a specific date, Atlus put out a press release this morning that has Vanillaware's hack 'n slasher targeting a summer release in the west via both retail and PSN.

We mentioned in the previous post that Amazon and GameStop have Dragon's Crown listed for an August 6 release in North America. Atlus hasn't confirmed anything beyond "summer," but that sounds pretty close at least. The game—which comes from George Kamitani and the folks behind Odin Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade—will be priced at $49.99 and $39.99 for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, respectively.
