Dark Horse Announces Hatsune Miku Manga and More

New Lone Wolf & Cub and Katsuya Terada artbook also coming

Manga publisher Dark Horse had a handful of announcements to make at its Sakura-Con panel, including the upcoming release of KEI's Hatsune Miku: Unofficial Hatsune Mix, Hideki Mori and Kazuo Koike's New Lone Wolf & Cub manga, and The Art of Katsuya Terada book.

Featuring the work of original Hatsune Miku character designer KEI, Hatsune Miku: Unofficial Hatsune Mix kicked off in Jive's Comic Rush magazine in 2007, and comes packed with some color illustrations, as well. The first volume is scheduled for early next year.

Originally announced in 2006, New Lone Wolf & Cub was delayed due to licensing issues. The 2004-2007 series picks things up where Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima's original series ended in 1976. Like the Hatsune Miku manga, New Lone Wolf & Cub is set to start hitting shelves early next year.

Dark Horse also mentioned that volume 14 of The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service is on track for a December release, and that Oh My Goddess! and Blade of the Immortal will both be availably digitally starting in April.

The last major announcement was The Art of Katsuya Terada, which will include commentary by the artist behind Blood: The Last Vampire's character designs and the Monkey King manga. Guess when this one ships? Yep! Early next year!
