The Hatsune Miku April Fools' joke doesn't get terribly high marks for effort or creativity, but it does score some points for irreverence. The gag is, in honor of Miku's official 39ch Youtube channel reaching 100,000 subscribers, the vocaloid has abdicated the feed in favor of her scary kigurumi (person in a mascot/character suit) surrogate, Mikudayo (ミクダヨー – “It’s Miku!”).
