Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe Attached to "Tokyo Vice"

Movie to adapt Jake Adelstein's crime reporting memoir

Deadline is reporting that Daniel Radcliffe, best known as Harry Potter, is set to star as Jake Adelstein in the adaptation of his Tokyo Vice, a memoir following his years reporting on organized crime while working at the Yomiuri Shinbun and locking horns with yakuza boss Tadamasa Goto, called the “John Gotti of Japan."


The movie will be helmed by music video and commercials director Anthony Mandler from a script by playwright JT Rogers.


Adelstein's second book, The Last Yakuza, will be published next year by Pantheon.
