Visual and Cast Additions for the New Season of Fantasy Spoof Anime "Senyu"

"Senyū. Dai 2 Ki" kicks off July 2nd.

Director Yutaka "Yamakan" Yamamoto (Haruhi, first four episodes of Lucky Star, Fractale) and Squid Girl writer Michiko Yokote and will be bringing a second adaptation of Robinson Haruhara's spoof of fantasy epics Senyu to a summer anime season crowded with sequels and revivals.


Seirou Ogino, who voiced the king in the first season, is back as legendary demon lord Rukimedes I, who terrorized the human world a millennium ago.



Daisuke Sakaguchi (Gintama's Shinpachi) is joining  Yuri - a smiling, but devious representative from a group of devils

Another addition is Elf November, voiced by Hiroshi Okamoto. a cheerful boy who speaks with a  Kansai dialect




Senyū. Dai 2 Ki kicks off July 2nd.
