"Young Ace" To Reprint End of "Evangelion" Manga

Sell out chapter to be reoffered to August issue

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, who provided the original character designs for Neon Genesis Evangelion, began telling a slightly alternate version of the story in a manga series in November 1994, 11 months before the anime hit TV. Now, after 96 chapters almost 20 years, the manga is over. And, as you might imagine, that final chapter is selling out.

In response, Young Age is taking the unusal, but not unheard of step of reprinting the final chapter in the August issue, on sale July 4th.

Viz isn't up to the final chapter, but is offering the series digitally.
