Last week, Kodansha Comics published the first volume of zombie rom-com manga Sankarea. The think about the Japanese covers is that their bishoujo art focuses on latter part of that formula and not the former. So, the publisher has worked with author Mitsuru Hattori to colorize re-purposed  interior pages and play up the manga's horror elements. 

Here's an early look at volume three, due out October 29th.
