"Miku Miku Hockey" Offered for Japanese PlayStation Vita

AR game seen as a tech demo at April's Nico Nico Chokaigi 2

After Hatsune Miku and superdeformed surrogate Mikudayo were cast in an augmented reality air hockey tech demo, showcased at the Hatsune Miku and Piapro Exhibit booth in April's Nico Nico Chokaigi 2 super conference, the game is being made available in Japan, exclusively to PlayStation Plus members, from September 10 to November 19.

The released version of Miku Miku Hockey adds a new spectate mode where you can watch Hatsune Miku and Mikudayo (or two Hatsune Mikus or Mikudayos) play air hockey with one another. There is also a character leveling up mechanic.

The game is an upgraded, branded version of the PS Vita’s AR Hockey technical demonstration app, seen at Game Developers Conference 2012.
