In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Key's visual novel CLANNAD, Updraft, a Tokyo-based company specialized in anime/game character goods, has started accepting pre-orders for smartphone cases featuring a laser engraved illustration on the back. The cases made of duralumin are compatible with both the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s, and the set contains an earphone jack cover with the CLANNAD logo. There are two versions available; Gold and Gray. The price for the both versions is 11,970 yen (about US$121.59) and the scheduled delivery day is in late December.

CLANNAD was first released by Key in April 2004 for Windows PCs as its first visual novel for all ages (their two previous titles Kanon and AIR were originally released as adult games). It was later ported to several consoles including PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The anime adaptations were produced by Toei Animation (2007 film) and Kyoto Animation (2007-2008 TV anime).
