VIDEO: Toei Robot Girls Z Promote Release of Classic Mecha Anime

Classic super robots appear in shorts running this winter

Ahead of this winter's personified mecha anime Robot Girls Z shorts series, Mariko Honda voiced Z-chan, Inori Minase voiced Gre-chan and Kazusa Aranami voiced Grenda-san have been enlisted to help Toei sell their classic mecha anime. 


Mazing: The Movie Blu-ray will be released December 6th while a DVD of themes will be released the 18th.



Cast includes on the series includes:



1972's Mazinger Z -  Mariko Honda voiced Z-chan

1974's Great Mazinger - Inori Minase voiced Gre-chan

1975's UFO Robo Grendizer - Kazusa Aranami voiced Grenda-san



Adversaries include Aya Hisakawa as Ashura, Yukiko Morishita as Garada-chan and Nao Tōyama as Doublas-chan.

1974'2 Getter Robo -  Maaya Uchida voiced Gecchan

1975's Steel Jeeg - Minami Tsuda voiced Jeeg-san




Other robots include Mika Kikuchi as Minerva X, Kaori Takaoka as Gai-chan (Gaiking), Satomi Satou as Gacky (Ga-Keen), Ayumi Tsuji as Bara-tan (Baratack), and Chiharu Kitaoka as Dandan (Danguard Ace). 


After the previously posted episode zero, Toei will be presenting nine more episodes this winter. Hiroshi Ikehata directs the series with Kazuho Hyodo (NyarkoWagnaria) writing and Tetsuya Kawakami (Oreimo animation director) providing character designs.
