"Terra Formars" TV Anime Set for This Fall

The OVA episodes will be bundled with the upcoming tankobons

The 24th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump, which is officially published in Japan today on May 15, announced that the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Yu Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana's sci-fi manga Terra Formars is scheduled to premiere in this fall. The TV anime covers the Annex 1 arc in 2620, which has been told after the second tankobon volume.


In addition, the two-episode OVA, which covers the BUGS 2 arc set in the year 2599 and was told in the first volume, will be bundled with the upcoming limited editions of the 10th and 11th volumes respectively. The 10th will be released in August and the 11th will follow in November. The price for the limited editions are both 1,980 yen (about US$19.45). The latest/9th volume hits Japanese stores next Monday on May 19.
