"Trigun" Author's "Blood Blockade Battlefront" to Be Adapted into Anime

Details on adaptation of supernatural action series will be revealed later

The July issue of Jump SQ and volume 9 of Trigun author Yasuhiro Nightow's Blood Blockade Battlefront, on sale in Japan June 4th, are announcing that the ongoing supernatural action manga is set to be adapted into anime. Whether it's a TV series or OVA, cast and staff will be revealed later.

A breach between Earth and the netherworlds has opened up over the city of New York, trapping New Yorkers and creatures from other dimensions in an impenetrable bubble. They've lived together for years, in a world of crazy crime sci-fi sensibilities. Now someone is threatening to sever the bubble, and a group of stylish superhumans is working to keep it from happening.
