Billboard Japan has announced its rankings for the first half of 2014 (November 25, 2013 to June 1, 2014) for 11 categories. As expected, the three versions of "Let It Go" sung by Takako Matsu, May J., and Idina Menzel take the top 3 places in the "Top Animation" category. Matsu voices Elsa the Snow Queen of Arendelle singing the song in the Japanese dub version of Frozen. Multilingual singer May J performs the song as the ending theme song for the Japanese version. And needles to say, Idina Menzel is the original English voice actress for Elsa. The soundtrack album of Frozen also takes the top spot in the "Top Albums" and "Top Overseas Soundtrack Albums" categories.

The top ranked song for a Japanese film is Kis-My-Ft2's 10th single "Hikari no Signal" in 4th place. The song was featured as the theme song for Doraemon: New Nobita's Great Demon—Peko and the Exploration Party of Five.
