It's pretty early for the news because the first season is only half over, and it's early because volume 3 of Kotaro Kosugi's 4-panel manga Futsu no Joshikosei ga Locodol Yattemita (Ordinary High School Girls Tried Being Local Idols) was just released at the end of July, but publisher Ichijinsha has teased (/joked about) a season two anime announcement.
