Leveraging the advancement in technology – called “Mana”, humanity has been able to eliminate all wars, starvation, pollution, and other problems on Earth by using its power. Earth has become a peaceful utopia free of material needs.

CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon focuses on the first princess of the Empire of Misurugi, Angelise. She is the celebrated ruler of the Empire until one day she finds out the shocking truth that she is a “Norma” – an irregular being who cannot use “Mana”, and are treated as "things" rather than people. Having her name taken from her, Ange isolates herself on a remote island. There, she finds a group of Norma women who spend their days hunting dragons that have come to invade.

The animation will be produced by SUNRISE, known for Cowboy Bebop and the Mobile Suit Gundam series, and will feature an all-star cast of voice actress! The main character Angelise will be voiced by Nana Mizuki, who also voiced Hinata Hyuuga from Naruto. She is joined by the veteran voice actress Megumi Hayashibara, who has voiced Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop and Rei Ayanami from the Evangelion reboot movies. Ami Koshimizu – Kill la Kill’s Ryuuko Matoi – will voice Ersha.

Finally, The Fruit of Grisaia will broadcast every Sunday starting on October 5 at 10:00am Pacific Time, and will be available in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Europe, South Africa, Middle East, North Africa and Latin America.

Based on the Japanese visual novel by Front Wing, The Fruit of Grisaia revolves around Mihama Academy, a prison-like school built to preserve fruit that has fallen too far from its tree. It is home to five female students who each have their reasons for enrolling in the academy and live their life idly within the walls of Mihama.

One day, Kazami Yuuji the institute’s first male student arrives and throws the orderly rhythm of Mihama off balance. Is Yuuji what the girls need to hold of their lives once more, or will the weight of their pasts prove too steep a wall to overcome? Or is his past even heavier than any of the others?

Takahiro Sakurai, whose recent works include Psycho-Pass as Shōgo Makishima, will voice the male student Kazami Yuuji. He plays opposite voice actress Ryouko Tanaka, Yuiko Kurugaya from Little Busters!, and voice actor Takahiro Sakurai, who does the voicing of Cloud Strife. Yoshino Nanjou who worked on the theme song for Love Live! School idol project as Eli Ayase will be performing the ending theme song of The Fruit of Grisaia.
