Shoujo series will have run the better part of 15 years

The November issue of Bessatsu Friend, on sale in Japan this weekend, has announced that Tomoko Hayakawa's make-over/relationship manga The Wallflower (aka Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge - Perfect Girl Evolution) will be ending in the magazine's February 2015 issue. Volume 35 of the series, released in North America, was released in Japan on September 12th. Launched in 2000, the series will have run the better part of 15 years.

In addition to the 2006 Shinichi Watanabe anime, the series was adapted into a 2010 live-action drama.
