Rock Band Sekai no Owari Gets Manga Biography in Shonen Magazine

Kodansha has announced that "SEKAI NO OWARI Monogatari" (SEKAI NO OWARI Story), a two-episode manga biography of the four-member Japanese rock band SEKAI NO OWARI will be published in its Weekly Shonen Magazine's upcoming 2nd/3rd and 4th/5h combined issues of 2015. The former issue will be released on December 10, 2014, then the latter will follow two weeks later. Atsunori Horiuchi, who is known for his fantasy manga Baby World End, which was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in 2012-2013, illustrates the manga biography. 

 

The band, whose name literally means "The End of the World," was formed in 2010, then made their major debut from Toy's Factory in the following year. So far they have released 7 singles and 1 album from the company. Their 4th single released in May 2013, "RPG" was featured as the theme song for the Crayon Shin-chan: Very Tasty! B-class Gourmet Survival!! film. The 29-year-old vocalist of the band,

Fukase is also well known as the boyfriend of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
