Japan Post Service Provides Free Bishoujo Illustrations for New Year's Postcards
Featuring the next year's Chinese zodiac animal, sheep

Even in the era of emails, sending nengajo (New Year's Postcard) to friends, relatives, and colleagues is still important custom for Japanese people. Japan Post Office has started providing free templates for nengajo, including eight moe-ish bishoujo illustrations drawn by unnamed young artists. All of the illustrations are featuring the next year's Chinese zodiac animal, sheep, with a cute girl. Which girl do you want to use for your nengajo?
