Viz Announces "QQ Sweeper" and "Idol Dreams" Shoujo Manga

New manga by Kyousuke Motomi and Arina Tanemura launch this fall

Viz Media's Shojo Beat label has announced the addition of two new manga titles set to debut this fall. Dengeki Daisy author Kyousuke Motomi's new QQ Sweeper launches in October, followed by the launch of Idol Dreams by the prolific Arina Tanemura in November.

 

 

Kyutaro Horikita, the tall, dark and handsome cleaning expert of Kurokado High, is about to meet a sleeping maiden at the school: transfer student Fumi Nishioka! Fumi’s going to learn how to rid the school of nasty spirits with Kyutaro’s help, and her heart will surprisingly be “cleansed” too…!

About the author: Kyousuke Motomi debuted in Deluxe Betsucomi with Hetakuso Kyupiddo (No Good Cupid) in 2002. She is the creator of Dengeki Daisy, Beast Master and Otokomae! Biizu Kurabu (Handsome! Beads Club). Motomi enjoys sleeping, tea ceremonies and reading Haruki Murakami.

About the author: Arina Tanemura began her manga career in 1996 when her short stories debuted in Ribon magazine. She gained fame with the 1997 publication of I•O•N, and ever since her debut Tanemura has been a major force in shojo manga with popular series Phantom Thief Jeanne, Time Stranger Kyoko, Full Moon, and The Gentlemen’s Alliance †. Both Phantom Thief Jeanne and Full Moon have been adapted into animated TV series.
