Limited edition sweets come with collectible cards
Japanese confectionery Patisserie Swallowtail is teaming up with Yurikuma Arashi in a special promotional campaign featuring themed desserts based off of everyone's favorite anime featuring the yuri-licious adventures of murderous cartoon bears.
The “Delicious Smell Cake” is a confection that combines the flavor of chocolate and banana. It sells for 750 yen ($6.20 US), including tax.
The “Growl Growl Parfait” is a chocolate mousse-based dessert with a wafer cookie paw and a layer of honey. It sells for 880 yen ($7.27 US), including tax.
The “Yurikuma Arashi Print Cookies” are crispy cookies emblazoned with the images of Ginko, Lulu, Kureha, Life Sexy, Life Cool, and Life Beauty. They sell also sell for 750 yen.
Each sweet purchase also comes with a collectible card, while supplies last:
The promotional baked goods are on sale from March 17 through April 06. 2015, at the Patisserie Swallowtail Annex in Shinjuku. Some of the goods will also be available at Tokyo Hands in Ikebukuro and at the Harajuku branch of K-BOOKS during this time.
