Sentai Filmworks Licenses "Hayate the Combat Butler"

Series to be available digitally soon, home video release to follow

Sentai Filmworks announced the acquisition of the first Hayate the Combat Butler anime today. The series is set to arrive digitally soon, with a home video release to follow. 


Based on the manga by Kenjiro Hata, Hayate the Combat Butler features direction by Keiichiro Kawaguchi (OniAi, Sket Dance, Hunter x Hunter -The Last Mission- movie), with Junki Takegami (Gunslinger Girl) and Shinichi Inotsume (Gangsta.) on series composition for the SynergySP production.


Sentai's synopsis: 

The first in a series spanning multiple seasons and a film, Hayate introduces the titular character Hayate Ayasaki, a good guy who’s down on his luck and desperately trying to alter his fate. One day he runs into a girl named Nagi Sanzenin, and his life is changed forever.
