TV anime is directed by Itsuki Imazaki (Ai Mai Mi)
Fushigina Somera-chan Haute Couture, the sequel to Choborau Nyopomi's four-panel comedy manga Fushigina Somera-chan/Magical Somera-chan, has started its serialization on the June 2015 issue of Ichijinsha's Manga 4-koma Palette monthly magazine released today, April 22.
The original series was serialized in the publisher's Manga Palette Life from its 6th issue, but was cancelled when the magazine stopped its publication with 38th issue published in April 2011. The manga was later compiled in two tankobon volumes, but their print editions are already out of print, only the Kindle editions are now available.
Following the announcement for the TV anime adaptation early this month, the sequel gets the greenlight due to requests from the readers and "adult's circumstances." The adaptation is directed by
Itsuki Imazaki who previously worked on the two TV anime adaptations of the author's another popular
manga work Ai Mai Mi. Its on-air schedule has not been yet announced.
