Toonami Announces Addition of "Akame Ga Kill!" and "Michiko & Hatchin"

"Akame Ga Kill!" scheduled for August 8th, and "Michiko & Hatchin" scheduled for June 8th

At this weekend's MomoCon, Atlanta Georgia animation, anime, gaming, and comics convention, Toonami held a panel announcing that Michiko & Hatchin will be replacing Inuyasha: The Final Act, starting June 20th, and that the cable programming block will be introducing the 2014 adaptation of violent action series Akame Ga Kill on August 8th as their first tile from Sentai Film Works.

 

 

Michiko and Hatchin, is the 2008 spiritual successor to Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo.  Lupin III: A Woman Named Fujiko Mine's Sayo Yamamoto directs the series with Shinichiro Watanabe minding the music.
