Live-action sequel will premiere on July 11
Nihon TV/Nippon TV today posted a 15-second first promotional video for the upcoming TV drama adaptation of Yasumi Yoshizawa's Dokonjo Gaeru classic manga, introducing the protagonist Hiroshi in age of 30 played by Kenichi Matsuyama and the talking flog Pyonkichi on his shirt voiced by Hikari Mitsushima. The two are singing the theme song for the first TV anime aired in 1972-1974. The live-action sequel is scheduled to premiere at 21:00 on July 11.
