Broadcast Library Hosts "Tezuka / Ishinomori Heroes" Exhibition

Event pages homage to 2 of Japan's most influential creators of anime & manga

 

The Broadcast Library in Yokohama is holding an exhibition highlighting the work of Osamu Tezuka and Shotaro Ishinomori beginning in July of 2015. The event will feature original manga artwork and storyboards for animation as well as screenings of classic works such as Astro Boy, Kimba the White Lion, Cyborg-009, and the live-action Kamen Rider television show.

 

The exhibition will also feature family-friendly attractions such as quizzes, coloring activities, photo opportunities, and the chance for visitors to try their hand at voice acting in a special "dubbing experience" studio corner. 

 

 

The Tezuka / Ishinomori Heroes exhibit will run from July 10 to September 13, 2015 at the Broadcast Library in Yokohama, Japan. For more information about the event, you can check out the official Japanese home page here.
