Unsold stock of "Creamy Mami", "Black Jack" TV, "Dear Brother" will be destroyed after June 2015
Earlier this year Crunchyroll reported about the demise of Anime Sols, a crowd-funding based company that aimed to distribute classic anime titles to North American audiences.
Now a new wrinkle has developed: Rightstuf has to sell its remaining stock of Anime Sols DVDs by the end of June. Any unsold copies must be destroyed.
It sounds cruel, but this must be done as a matter of tax liability. At the time of this writing, Rightstuf lists stock available for Magical Angel Creamy Mami volumes 1 - 4, Black Jack volumes 1 and 2, and Dear Brother volumes 1 - 3.
