Shaft Celebrates 40th Anniversary with "Madogatari" Art Exhibition

Traveling anime mash-up exhibit to tour Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo


To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Japanese animation studio Shaft, Inc. is creating an art exhibition called "Madogatari" that combines two of their most popular anime properties: Puella Magi Madoka Magica and the Monogatari series (Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, etc.).



Although the exact venues for the exhibition have not been announced yet, the dates for the different locations are as follows:


  • Tokyo - November 27 to December 02, 2015
  • Osaka - December 22 to December 27, 2015
  • Sapporo - February 09 to February 14, 2016
