Manga Authors Pay Tribute to Debut of "Ushio and Tora" Anime

Creators of "Blood Lad," "Mushibugyo," "Flame of Recca" and more check in

While plenty of fans were hyped for this weekend's debut of the new TV anime adaptation of Kazuhiro Fujita's 1990 – 1996 manga Ushio and Tora, few anime debuts have drummed up as much social media excitement among other manga authors. Shōnen Sunday compatriots like Mushibugyo's Hiroshi Fukuda and Flame of Recca's Nobuyuki Anzai chimed in, but so did others, from Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer's Satoshi Mizukami to Yuyushiki's Komata Mikami.
