"Soul Eater" Manga Author Prepares to Launch New SF Firefighting Series

Weekly Shonen Magazine also announced return of "Ace of the Diamond" and new manga from Enji Tatsuta, Ken Wakui and Tooru Oikawa

Weekly Shonen Magazine's 2015 issue 32, out in Japan July 8th, has announced that Atsushi Ōkubo, best known as the creator of Soul Eater, is preparing to launch a new manga series tentatively titled Flame-Flame Fire Fighting Regiment. The SF firefighting series starting in issue 43 follows a group battling mysterious human combustion.


The issue also announced that Yuji Terajima's Ace of the Diamond is returning in issue 38. Enji Tatsuta (Gumi from Vocaloid) is preparing to launch new series Daigo Tokusou in issue 33. Shinjuku Swan's Ken Wakui is launching The Desert Eagle in the 36-37 double issue. Tooru Oikawa (From the New World) will be launching Infection Revolution in the fall.
