"Shumi Doki!" Offers "Anime Voice Actors Cram School" Segments

NHK E talk variety TV program to feature prominent voice actors in August and September


Shumi Doki, a talk variety television program on Japan's NHK E channel. will be offering a new segment in August and September of 2015 featuring an "anime voice actors cram school". The segments will be hosted by singer / voice actor / talent Shoko Nakagawa (in the role of school president) and will include prominent voice actors giving lessons on the art of anime voice acting.



The first guest instructor will be Masako Nozawa (the Japanese voice of Goku in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z) on the August 4th broadcast of Shumi Doki. Additional guest instructors include:

Shumi Doki is an educational program that allows people to explore new hobbies, such as sports, music, and art. The show focuses intensely on a single subject for a period of 2 months, examining the hobby with the help of guest experts. The program is designed to be useful to novices as well advanced hobby enthusiasts.
