20th anniversary project seeks feedback from 30,000 "Evangelion" fans
As part of the ongoing celebration of the 20th anniversary of Hideaki Anno and Studio Gainax's landmark psychological / mecha TV anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion, a new project is aiming to introduce Eva into the world of modern smart phones.
The goal of the project is the develop the Evangelion-themed smart phones by the end of 2015. Currently, the production committee overseeing the project is soliciting 30,000 volunteers to fill out questionnaires concerning what they wish to see in terms of design and functionality for the smart phones.
