30 second trailer reveals cast, crew for adaptation of Usamaru Furuya's horror / comedy manga
Lychee Light Club, a grotesque horror / satire manga written by Usamaru Furya in which a group of deranged boys kidnap and murder women in search of the ultimate beauty, is receiving a live-action film adaptation from Nikkatsu. The manga itself is based on a play of the same name performed by the Tokyo Grand Guignol.
The cast of the film includes Shuhei Nomura, Yuki Furukawa, Shotaro Mamiya, Junya Ikeda, Ryo Matsuda, Junki Tozuka, Reiya Masaki, Kisetsu Fujiwara, and Amane Okayama as the 9 members of the club.
The film is directed by Eisuke Naito and is scheduled for release in the Winter season of 2015. The Lychee Light Club manga is released in English by Vertical, Inc., and there is also a humorous anime adaptation available through Crunchyroll.
