Veteran singer / voice actress was on hiatus after having a baby in 2014
Veteran voice actress / singer Chisa Yokoyama is returning to the stage in October of 2015 for a concert featuring the music of the Sakura Wars anime and video game series. The concert will be held for 3 performances total on October 30 - 31 at the Shinjuku FACE event hall in Kabukicho, Tokyo, Japan.
Yokoyama plays the lead role of Sakura Shinguji in the Sakura Wars mixed media series, which has spanned numerous video games and anime adaptations since its inception in 1996. The Sakura Wars live concerts began as annual events in 2011, but were sidelined in 2014 when Yokoyama went on hiatus after having a baby.
The concert includes guests Michie Tomizawa (the voice of Sumire Kanzaki) on October 30 and Urara Takano and Yuriko Fuchizaki (the voices of Maria Tachibana and Kohran Li, respectively) on October 31. General admission tickets for the concert cost 5500 yen ($43.95 US) including tax.
