Studio 4°C Suggests that Americans May Soon Be Seeing "Mind Game" and "Genius Party"

Unique anime streaming on Japanese Netflix offering

After the news that anthology Genius Party and acclaimed feature Mind Game will be streaming on the Japanese Netflix offering, the producers of those unique anime, Studio 4°C were asked about whether they might be coming to the North America. Fans of artistic and distinctive anime will be delighted to see that Studio 4°C answered in the affirmative. 


 Mind Game is Masaaki Yuasa's (The Tatami Galaxy, Kaiba, Ping Pong) adaptaiton of manga author Robin Nishi's wild story of what happens when he intervenes during a confrontation between a pair of gangsters and his long time crush. 


The pair of Genius Party anthologies gives no restrictions to anime greats and new experimentors Atsuko Fukushima, Shoji Kawamori, Shinji Kimura, Yoji Fukuyama, Hideki Futamura, Masaaki Yuasa, Shinichiro Watanabe, Mahiro Maeda, Kazuto Nakazawa, Shinya Ohira, Tatsuyuki Tanaka and Koji Morimoto.


While the projects have been shown on the festival circuit and are available in Australia, they not been widely available in North America.
