Author of long-running series removed his account from social media website after a terse final message
Noriaki Kubo - the author of Bleach, who writes under the pen name of Tite Kubo - has removed his account from the Twitter social media platform.
Before the account was deactivated, Kubo's final Tweet read: "【お知らせ】明日木曜夜、今から約24時間後にTwitterアカウントを一旦削除します。ご用の方はそれまでにDMでお願いします。"
Which translates as: "Notice: As of Thursday evening, I'm going to remove my Twitter account within the next 24 hours. Until then people who have business with me, please send me direct messages."
Kubo did not provide any further explanation as to why he was departing from the social media platform. Kubo's Twitter account, @tite_kubo, now returns a "Sorry! That page doesn't exist" error message.
