Sequel to "Sinbad: The Flying Princess and the Secret Island" hits Japanese theaters in January
Nippon Animation has announced a new anime theatrical film: Sinbad: The Magic Lamp and the Moving Island, which serves as the sequel to the Sinbad: The Flying Princess and the Secret Island anime film that was released in Japanese theaters in July of 2015. It was also announced that the Sinbad series of films will be a trilogy.
Sinbad: The Magic Lamp and the Moving Island is directed by Shinpei Miyashita with character designs and chief animation direction by Yoshiharu Sato. The script and series composition are by Hiroyuki Kawasaki, inspired by One Thousand and One Nights. The film will be released in Japanese theaters on January 16, 2016.
