"Nijiiro Days" TV Anime Scheduled for January 2016 Release

Adaptation is based on the shōjo manga by Minami Mizuno


Crunchyroll previously reported about how Nijiiro Days ("Rainbow Days"), a romantic comedy shōjo manga by Minami Mizuno, was being adapted into a TV anime with direction by Tetsuro Amino and Tomihiko Ohkubo and animation production by Studio Reed. Now it has been revealed that the TV anime will hit Japanese airwaves in January of 2016.



Additionally, an open audition contest was also announced in collaboration with the DAM ★ Tomo chain of karaoke bars. Contestants can enter this competition from October 15 to November 23, 2015, at DAM ★ Tomo locations throughout Japan.


One lucky winner will receive the opportunity to voice the character of Ishida-san in episode 06 of the Nijiiro Days TV anime, while 5 other entrants determined by a lottery style drawing will receive promotional posters.
