2-part short film promotes The Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation
Crunchyroll previously reported on Why She Loves Kanji, a short film in 2 parts with animation by Studio 4°C produced by the Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation. Now the 2nd part has been published, and the story of Yusuke Sagara and his kanji-crazed, would-be love interest Haruka Hirai comes to its characteristic conclusion.
In Why She Loves Kanji, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka provides the voice for Yusuke, while Aya Suzaki voices Haruka. Yuuko Iida plays Natsumi Hatano, Haruka's now-jealous friend. The ending theme, "Tsuki", is performed by Tutti. For more information about The Japan Kanji Aptitude Foundation, please check out the official Japanese home page here.
The film concludes with the kanji "続く?", meaning "to be continued?". Could more kanji-based adventures with Yusuke, Haruka, and Natsumi be planned for the future?
