Second Season of Live-Action "Wakakozake" Scheduled
Karate student turned actress Rina Takeda reprises lead role
Karate student turned actress Rina Takeda broke out a bit of drunken-master style to celebrate the announcement that the live-action adaptation of Chie Shinkyu's foodie manga Wakakozake will be returning for a second season in January. Takeda reprises the role of Wakako, a white collar worker who relieves stress by going out eating and drinking alone, voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro in summer's TV anime adaptation.
Yoshihiro Nozoe and Kenta Kamakari will play the shop manager and employee. 12 episodes will run on Friday nights at 23:30 starting December 8th.
